NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commission- <br />ers of Indian River County, Florida shall hold a public hearing at <br />which parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity <br />to be heard, in the County Commission Chambers of the County <br />Administration Building located at 1801 27th Street, Vero Beach, <br />Florida, on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 9:00 A.M. to consider adop- <br />tion of two proposed ordinances; entitled: <br />Ordinance 1 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, CONCERN- <br />ING AN AMENDMENT TO ITS LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS <br />(LDRS); PROVIDING FOR AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 926, <br />LANDSCAPE AND BUFFER REGULATIONS; BY AMENDING SECTION <br />926.06, LANDSCAPE MATERIALS STANDARDS; AND BY PROVID- <br />ING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; CODIFICATION; <br />SEVERABILITY; AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Ordinance 2 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, CONCERN- <br />ING AN AMENDMENT TO ITS LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS <br />(LDRS); PROVIDING FOR AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 971, <br />REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC LAND USES; BY AMENDING SECTION <br />971.12(3), SELF-SERVICE STORAGE FACILITIES; AND BY PROVID- <br />ING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; CODIFICATION; <br />SEVERABILITY; AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />A vote will be taken on each proposed ordinance. Ordinance <br />1, if adopted, will allow certain "large frond" palm trees to be <br />counted as standard canopy trees. Ordinance 2, if adopted, will <br />allow a graduated increase in building height for self -storage <br />buildings in the CG, General Commercial zoning district. <br />Drafts of the two proposed ordinances are available at the <br />Planning Division office located in the Community Development <br />Department on the first floor of the County Administration Com- <br />plex Building "A".
