Sobczak, Infrastructure Project Manager <br />SUBJECT: IRC Jail Complex Roofing Replacement, Recover and Repair Project, IRC -1735 <br />Final Payment, Release of Retainage and Change Order No. 2 <br />DATE: June 16, 2019 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On April 3, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners awarded Bid No. 2018021 to Atlantic Roofing II of <br />Vero Beach, Inc. in the amount of $1,263,655.00 for the replacement of the aging roof system at the <br />Indian River County Jail Complex. Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $93,743.00 for additional roof <br />replacement above the Jail's sally port was approved by the Board on March 5, 2019 for a contract total <br />of $1,357,398.00. <br />Change Order No. 2 makes final adjustments to contract bid items resulting in a decrease to the total <br />contract amount by $79,925.78 for a final cost of $1,277,472.22 and makes final contract time <br />adjustments. <br />Atlantic Roofing II of Vero Beach, Inc. has successfully completed the project and has been paid <br />$1,193,902.92 with $62,837.00 held in retainage to date. Atlantic Roofing II of Vero Beach, Inc. has <br />submitted Contractor's Application for Payment No. 10/Final for final payment in the amount of <br />$20,732.30 and release of retainage in the amount of $62,837.00 for a total of $83,569.30. <br />FUNDING <br />Funding in the amount of $83,569.30 is budgeted and available from the following accounts: <br />Optional Sales Tax <br />Facilities Mgmt/Jail Roof <br />Account No. 31522019-066510-16030 <br />$20,732.30 <br />Optional Sales Tax — Retainage <br />Account No. 315-206000-16030 <br />Facilities Mgmt/Jail Roof <br />$62,837.00 <br />47 <br />
