DeBraal, Deputy County Attorney <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Dylan Reingold - County Attorney <br />DATE: July 1, 2019 <br />RE: <br />Resolutions Delegating the Authority to the County. Administrator or his. Designee <br />to Call Letters of Credit and to Act on Behalf of Indian River County during the <br />time frames of July 17, 2019, through and including August 12, 2019; and August <br />14, 2019, through and including September 9, 2019 <br />The Indian River County Board of County Commissioners has canceled regularly scheduled <br />meetings during the two time frames of July 17, 2019, through and including August 12, 2019; <br />and August 14, 2019, through and including September 9, 2019. During these two intervals, it is <br />necessary and desirable that the Board delegate to the County Administrator, or his designee, the <br />authority to call Letters of Credit that may expire during these two time intervals. Further, it is <br />necessary and desirable that the Board delegate to the County Administrator, or his designee the <br />authority to execute all other documents necessary for the proper functioning of the County <br />Funding: <br />There is no expense associated with this item. <br />Requested Action: <br />Authorize the Chairman to sign the two Resolutions as presented, delegating the authority to <br />call Letters of Credit and delegating full signing authority during the periods commencing July <br />17, 2019, through and including August 12, 2019; and August 14, 2019, through and including <br />September 9, 2019, respectively. <br />/nhm <br />Attachments <br />92 <br />
