Board of County Commissioners <br />Meeting Minutes - Final June 4, 2019 <br />Attachments: Finance Department Staff Report <br />Commissioner O'Bryan observed that although there was a decrease in tourist <br />development tax, there seemed to be a lot of tourism during the active season. <br />Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Jeffrey Smith explained that much of <br />the decrease pertained to non-compliance (non-payment of tourist tax), and staff is <br />working on this situation. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner O'Bryan, seconded by Commissioner Flescher, <br />to accept the Quarterly Tourist Development Tax Report for the quarter ending <br />03/31/2019.
