Leaks reported within thirty days from date of installation, five feet before or five <br />feet after the meter will be repaired by the contractor at no additional expense to the County <br />or its customers within four hours after notification. Leaks reported after 30 days will be <br />repaired at no additional expense to the County or its customers if determined to be the result <br />of defect in workmanship within six hours after notification. Warranty is limited to National as <br />stated. National is not responsible for failed or non -working units. Units installed that do not <br />show any consumption — stuck or zero read will be replaced at no additional charge to the <br />utility and the meter returned to manufacturer for warranty. Meters tested and read with <br />photo proof unit was transmitting at time of install are covered by manufacturer warranty and <br />not National.
