ARCHITECTURAUSTRUCTURAL ENGINEERING PROPOSAL <br />FOR JONES PIER HISTORIC RESIDENCE <br />7770 JUNGLE TRAIL <br />July 29, 2019 <br />Page 2 <br />• SCHEMATIC DESIGN PHASE <br />The Architect shall assist the Owner in establishing the program and ascertain the requirements of <br />the project and shall arrive at a mutual understanding of such requirements with the Owner. <br />Based on this understanding the Architect shall prepare Schematic Design Documents consisting <br />of drawings and outline specifications <br />• CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS PHASE <br />Based on the approved Design Schematic Design Documents and any further adjustments in the <br />scope or quality of the project or in the construction budget authorized by the Owner, the <br />Architect shall prepare, for approval by the Owner, Construction Documents consisting of <br />Drawings and Specifications setting forth in detail the requirements for the construction of the <br />Project. <br />• BIDDING AND NEGOTIATION PHASE <br />The Architect, following the Owner's approval of the Construction Documents shall assist the <br />Owner in the review of Bids for Construction, attendance at Pre -Bid Meeting, clarifications of <br />RFI's and issuance of addenda. <br />• CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION PHASE OF THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT <br />The Architect's responsibility to provide Basic Services for the Construction Phase under this <br />Agreement commences with the award of the contract for construction and terminates at the <br />issuance to the Owner of the final Certificate for Payment or 60 days after the date of Substantial <br />Completion of the Work, whichever comes first. <br />The Architect shall provide a maximum of Four (4) periodic Site Observations, Review of <br />Contractor's Applications for Payment, Contractors request for information and/or clarifications, <br />Shop Drawing Reviews, Review of Change Order and decisions on any claims or disputes, Punch - <br />List Walk-Thru with Client and Contractor to determine general conformity with approved plans <br />and specifications. <br />3) BREAKDOWN OF PROFESSIONAL FEES <br />I) Architectural/Engineering Services: <br />a) Residence Floor Framing Field Verification <br />b) Residence Front Elevation Field Measuring <br />c) Structural Engineering Fee <br />d) Architectural Fee <br />e) Bidding Services <br />f) Construction Administration Services <br />g) Asbestos, Lead and Contaminant Testing <br />Total Fees <br />= $ 1,000.00 <br />= $ 750.00 <br />= $ 5,500.00 <br />= $ 2,500.00 <br />= $ 1,000.00 <br />= $ 2,500.00 <br />= $ 2,500.00 Allowance <br />$ 15,750.00 <br />DONADIO <br />& Associates, Architects, P.A. <br />
