The Board then <br />proceeded with the matter of fixing the rate of taxation for County and Special District <br />purposes for the year 19339 and after a careful consideration of the estimates of <br />receipts and the estimates of expenditures it was the determination of the Board that the <br />rate of taxation necessary to meet such expenses would be for each of the following <br />mentioned purposes the amounts estimated, declared and levied, viz: �� <br />In order to meet the estimated current expenses of the County of Indian River of <br />017,789.82, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of Seven (7) mills upon <br />the dollar be levied and is hereby imposed upon all of the property lying .and being in <br />the. County of Indian River on the first day of January, 1933, for the GENERAL FOD, to <br />meet the current expenses of the County and to provide for the expenditure as estimated <br />in the budget hereinbefore set forth. <br />To meet the expenses estimated to be necessary to be paid out of the FINE & FORPEITI <br />;, the sum of $7,360.28, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax rate of <br />Three (3) mills upon the dollar be levied, assessed, and is hereby imposed upon all the <br />property lying and being in the County of Indian River on the first dayof January919339 <br />for the FINE & FORFEITURE FOND, to meet the current expenses as estimated in the budget. <br />County Commissioners' Budget, 1933-1934, <br />NOT ICE is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, has made and completed the estimate of the <br />necessary . <br />and ordinary expenses and of, all special and extraordinary expenditures contem- <br />plated, as required by Section 2306, Compiled General Laws of Florida, <br />for the <br />fiscal year 1933-1934, which said estimates will be considered <br />and finally <br />adopted on Monday, August 21st, 1933, after which said estimates, will have <br />the force and effect of fixed appropriations.
