SECTION 00100 - Advertisement for Bids <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />1801 27th Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Sealed bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, <br />September 17, 2019. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the <br />name and address of the bidder on the outside and the words "INDIAN RIVER BOULEVARD <br />AND GRAND HARBOR BOULEVARD SIGNALIZATION and Bid No. 2019076". Bids should <br />be addressed to Purchasing Division, Room 131-301, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida <br />32960. All bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. All bids received after 2:00 <br />P.M., on the day specified above, will not be accepted or considered. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. IRC -1806 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2019076 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed improvements to the intersection of Indian River <br />Boulevard and Grand Harbor Boulevard consist of the signalization of the intersection by <br />installing mast arm assemblies which will be provided by the County, with all other <br />appurtenances to be furnished by the Contractor. Also included is milling and <br />resurfacing, curb ramp upgrades, signing and pavement markings, and sodding. <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br />with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. Detailed <br />specifications are available at: www.demandstar.com or by selecting "Current Solicitations" at <br />http://www.ircgov.com/Departments/Budaet/Purchasing. All communications concerning this <br />bid shall be directed to IRC Purchasing Division at purchasing(a)-ircgov.com. <br />All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided <br />within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely <br />including the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in <br />the form of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a <br />qualified surety, or a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do <br />business in the State of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent <br />�t of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County <br />Commissioners.
