SECTION 00100 - Advertisement for Bids BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS 1801 27th Street Vero Beach, Florida 32960 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS INDIAN RIVER COUNTY Sealed bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address of the bidder on the outside and the words "INDIAN RIVER BOULEVARD AND GRAND HARBOR BOULEVARD SIGNALIZATION and Bid No. 2019076". Bids should be addressed to Purchasing Division, Room 131-301, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. All bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 P.M. All bids received after 2:00 P.M., on the day specified above, will not be accepted or considered. INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. IRC -1806 INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2019076 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed improvements to the intersection of Indian River Boulevard and Grand Harbor Boulevard consist of the signalization of the intersection by installing mast arm assemblies which will be provided by the County, with all other appurtenances to be furnished by the Contractor. Also included is milling and resurfacing, curb ramp upgrades, signing and pavement markings, and sodding. All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto. All communications concerning this bid shall be directed to IRC Purchasing Division at purchasing(a)-ircgov.com. All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided within the specifications. Please note that the questionnaire must be filled out completely including the financial statement. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in the form of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety, or a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the State of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent �t of the total amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners.
