MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Tippin, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, to approve the request with the <br />same conditions that applied last year. <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Adams questioned the 6 trucks <br />for 5 days and the equal amount of fill, asking if that would be <br />additional. <br />Public Works Director Jim Davis explained that we don't have <br />to pay for the fill. We are hauling their fill. It is an <br />equitable compensation for the fill. <br />Administrator Chandler advised that the intent is our getting <br />$8400, and Commissioner Eggert wanted it made clear that we would <br />be getting the same amount of fill and that it is equitable. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. The <br />intent is to determine if FIND's mission, which is to acquire rights-of-way and spoil sites for the <br />development and maintenance of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (I.C.W.W.), has been <br />fulfilled and to assign its responsibilities to another agency if it is de -authorized in Indian River <br />_County.
