THIS <br />ORIGINAL MAT HAVE REDACTED INFORMATION AS STATED <br />IN FLORIDA AATIIE H9404 <br />AILIANIMUINIC <br />4225 43rd Avenue, Vero Beach, Florida 32967-1671 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY EMERGENCY ORDER 2019-01 <br />WHEREAS, on August 28, 2019, Governor Ron DeSantis, Governor of the State of Florida, <br />issued Executive Order Number 19-189, declaring that a state of emergency exists in all or a portion of <br />the State of Florida (including Indian River County) by reason of Hurricane Dorian; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 29, 2019, Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order Number <br />2019-190, amending Executive Order 2019-189; and <br />WHEREAS, on August 30, 2019, I, in my official capacity as County Administrator and <br />Indian River County Emergency Services Director, and acting pursuant to section 101.10(1) of the <br />Code of Indian River, and Resolution 2019-55 of the Board of County Commissioners, declared that a <br />local state of emergency exists in all of Indian River County, Florida, by reason of Hurricane Dorian; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, by reason of such declarations of a state of emergency, and pursuant to the <br />authority granted to me in my capacity as County Administrator and Indian River County Emergency <br />Services District Director, I am authorized to enter emergency orders necessary to ensure the health, <br />safety and welfare of the residents of Indian River County, including, without limitation, those orders <br />authorized in chapter 252, Florida Statutes, and chapter 101 of the Code of Indian River County, and <br />other applicable law; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, this Emergency Order is issued declaring a mandatory evacuation of <br />the barrier island, mobile/manufactured home parks, low lying areas, areas east of U.S. 1, and <br />substandard housing. <br />THIS EMERGENCY ORDER shall be in effect for Indian River County starting at 8 a.m. on <br />September 2, 2019 until further notice. <br />DONE AND ORDERED this 1St day of Septembe <br />Jason E.
