Students scoring in the 25th-50th%-ile on the iReady reading assessment
qualify to attend this remediation and enrichment program. We know that struggling readers
need more time to catch up to their peers, and that they must have highly -skilled teachers
who are able to reach them at their level to help them improve. Our program is a multi -faceted
enriched literacy program that provides remediation, additional time for mastery of academic
content for struggling students, and enrichment that connects learning concepts. Moonshot
Academy currently serves over 500 K-3 students on 8 campuses.
