Board of County Commissioners <br />Meeting Minutes - Final July 17, 2019 <br />• Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council - $65,285, an increase of <br />$1,231 or 1.9% <br />• Indian River Lagoon National Estuary Program - $50,000, no <br />change from current year <br />• Department of Juvenile Justice - $400,000, a decrease of ($50,000) <br />or (11.1%) fund state mandate <br />• Medicaid - $1,309,803, an increase of $80,982 or 6.6% <br />• Environmental Control Board - $7,033, no change from current year <br />• Circuit Court Expenses - $387,493, a decrease of ($9,877) or (2.5%) <br />• Guardian ad litem - $137,821, a decrease of ($15,986) or (10.4%) <br />• Victims Assistance Program - $72,218, an increase of $3,256 or <br />4.7% <br />• State Attorney - $317,525, an increase of $12,302 or 4.0% <br />• Public Defender - $93,357, an increase of $12,866 or 16.0% <br />• Medical Examiner - $451,906, a decrease of ($2,461) or (0.5%) <br />• State Forestry - $13,822, no change from current year <br />Administrator Brown gave an overview of the State Agencies pointing out <br />that the Medical Examiner was currently housed at the Indian River State <br />College Campus and since he was retiring, made mention that the County <br />had been working with three (3) other counties for a permanent facility in <br />St. Lucie County for the Guardian ad litem. <br />The Chairman opened the floor for public comments. <br />Chief Judge Lawrence Mirman, Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, introduced <br />himself and thanked the Board and the Sheriff for their continued support. <br />Miranda Hawker, Administration of the Florida Department of Health in <br />Indian River County, complimented the Board on how hard they were <br />working to improve public health within the County. <br />NON -DEPARTMENTAL <br />001-110 ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIVISION <br />001-128 CHILDREN'S SERVICES <br />001-137 SEBASTIAN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AREA <br />001-137 FELLSMERE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AREA <br />19-0655 <br />Attachments: Non -Departmental <br />Indian River County Florida <br />Page 11 <br />
