Board of County Commissioners <br />Meeting Minutes - Final September 11, 2019 <br />7. C. Make a motion to adopt Tentative Charge <br />A motion was made by Commissioner O'Bryan, seconded by Commissioner Flescher, <br />to adopt the tentative charges read into the record for each of the Non -Ad Valorem <br />Assessment Districts. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Solari, Vice Chairman Adams, Commissioner Flescher, Commissioner <br />O'Bryan, and Commissioner Zorc <br />8. APPROVE NON -AD VALOREM DOLLAR BUDGETS <br />8. A. Announce 2019/2020 proposed budget <br />19-0830 Non -Ad Valorem Dollar Budgets <br />Attachments: Non -Ad Valorem Dollar Budgets <br />19-0831 Miscellaneous funds <br />Attachments: Miscellaneous Funds <br />19-0832 Debt Service <br />Attachments: Debt Service -Capital Projects <br />8. B. Consider any Proposed Amendments <br />The Chairman invited public comments. <br />Linda Masterson, 106 Blue Heron Way, asked if there were any contingencies to <br />work on the beach restoration after Hurricane Dorian under Beach Restoration <br />Fund. <br />Administrator Brown explained the preliminary estimate from the beach erosion <br />damage caused by Hurricane Dorian was about $7,000,000 and the County was <br />pursuing FEMA reimbursement. He added that the County was moving forward <br />with the Sector 5 Project Beach and Dune Restoration Project to increase the <br />quantity of sand and restore losses from Hurricane Dorian. <br />8. C. Make a motion to adopt tentative budget <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Flescher, seconded by Vice Chairman Adams, <br />to adopt the budget for the Special Revenue Funds for $24,573,800; Debt Service <br />Funds $500,000; Capital Project Funds $32,360,215; Enterprise Funds $59,186,086; <br />and Internal Service Funds $37,227,725. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Solari, Vice Chairman Adams, Commissioner Flescher, Commissioner <br />O'Bryan, and Commissioner Zorc <br />Indian River County Florida Page 8 <br />
