Agreement Number: G0002 <br />FEDERALLY -FUNDED SUBAWARD AND GRANT AGREEMENT <br />2 C.F.R. §200.92 states that a "subaward may be provided through any form of legal agreement, including an <br />agreement that the pass-through entity considers a contract." <br />As defined by 2 C.F.R. §200.74, "pass-through entity" means "a non -Federal entity that provides a subaward to a <br />Sub -Recipient to carry out part of a Federal program." <br />As defined by 2 C.F.R. §200.93, "Sub -Recipient" means "a non -Federal entity that receives a subaward from a <br />pass-through entity to carry out part of a Federal program." <br />As defined by 2 C.F.R. §200.38, "Federal award" means "Federal financial assistance that a non -Federal entity <br />receives directly from a Federal awarding agency or indirectly from a pass-through entity." <br />As defined by 2 C.F.R. §200.92, "subaward" means "an award provided by a pass-through entity to a Sub - <br />Recipient for the Sub -Recipient tocarry out part of a Federal award received by the pass-through entity." <br />The following information is provided pursuant to 2 C.F.R. §200.331(a)(1): <br />Sub -Recipient's name: Indian River County <br />Sub -Recipient's unique entity identifier (DUNS): <br />Federal Award Identification Number (FAIN): <br />Federal Award Date: <br />Subaward Period of Performance Start and End Date: <br />Amount of Federal Funds Obligated by this Agreement: <br />Total Amount of Federal Funds Obligated to the Sub -Recipient <br />by the pass-through entity to include this Agreement: $78,722.00 <br />Total Amount of the Federal Award committed to the Sub -Recipient <br />by the pass-through entity: $78,722.00 <br />July 1, 2019 <br />July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 <br />$78,722.00 <br />Federal award project description (see FFATA): The purpose of the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) <br />Program is to provide federal funds to states to assist state, local, territorial, and tribal governments in preparing for all hazards, as <br />authorized by Section 662 of the Post Katrina Emergency Management Reform Act (6 U.S.C. & 762) and the Robert T. Stafford <br />Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. && 5121 et seq.). Title VI of the Stafford Act authorizes DHS/FEMA to <br />make grants for the purpose of providing a system of emergencv preparedness for the protection of life and property in the United <br />States from hazards and to vest responsibility for emergency preparedness jointly in the Federal Government, states, and their <br />political subdivisions. The Federal Government, through the EMPG Program, provides necessary direction, coordination, and <br />guidance, and provides necessary assistance, as authorized in this title, to support a comprehensive all hazards emergency <br />preparedness system. The FY 2019 EMPG will provide federal funds to assist state, local, tribal, and territorial emergency <br />management agencies to obtain the resources required to support the National Preparedness Goal's (the Goal's) associated <br />mission areas and core capabilities.
