2019 2020 FLORIDA JOB GROWTH GRANT FUND <br />1. Program Requirements: <br />(If additional space is needed, attach a word document with your entire answer.) <br />Each proposal must include the following information describing how the project satisfies <br />eligibility requirements listed on page 1. <br />A. Provide a detailed description of the public infrastructure improvements. <br />Capacity and access improvements to 2,600 ft. of road to accommodate expansion by existing & pros- <br />pective employers. Improvements include construction/reconstruction to collector/arterial standards. <br />B. Provide location of public infrastructure, including physical address and county of project. <br />98th Avenue from SR -60 to 1,200' south of 18th Street in Indian River County. <br />C. Is this infrastructure for public use or does it predominately benefit the public? <br />2 <br />Yes No <br />The project is on 98th Avenue, a public road, and will benefit the public by providing infrastructure <br />needed for access and to attract businesses and support local economic development efforts. <br />Will the public infrastructure improvements be for the exclusive benefit of any single company, <br />corporation or business entity? <br />4 <br />Yes No <br />Although not an improvement that benefits a single employer, the proposed infrastructure <br />improvement is necessary to accommodate the types of industry, existing and future, that have <br />expressed an interest in expanding in Indian River County. The project is consistent with multiple <br />goals of the Florida Transportation Plan, especially "Providing transportation infrastructure to Support <br />Job Growth." The project's strategic location at the intersection of 1-95 and. SR 60 will benefit Florida by <br />maximizing the state's investment in those critical state economic corridors. <br />36 <br />
