The manufacturer shall have an ISO 9001:2008 certified quality system and <br />ISO 14001:2004 certified environmental management system. <br />D. Installer's Qualifications: The contractor shall be qualified to perform the work <br />specified by reason of experience. Contractor shall have at least 5 years of <br />experience in commercial textured finish application, and shall have completed at <br />least 3 projects of similar size and complexity. Contractor shall provide proof before <br />commencement of work that he/she will maintain and supervise a qualified crew of <br />applicators through the duration of the work. When requested Contractor shall <br />provide a list of the last three comparable jobs including the name, location, and <br />start and finish dates for the work. <br />E. Mock-ups: The contractor shall install a 4 ft. x 8 ft mock-up of the system for <br />evaluation and approval by the design professional, building owner, or owner's <br />representative/quality assurance agent. <br />F. Testing: Testing shall be conducted as directed by the design professional, building <br />owner, or owner's representative/quality assurance agent to verify soffit/ceiling <br />assembly performance and adhesion to prepared substrates. <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Procedure: In accord with Section 01010. <br />B. Certificates: Manufacturer's certification that materials conform to Specifications <br />requirements. <br />C. Product data: Manufacturer's written recommendations for mix proportions and <br />application for factory -prepared finish materials. <br />D. Samples: The Contractor shall submit to the owner/architect two samples of each <br />finish, texture and color to be used on the project. The same tools and techniques <br />proposed for the actual installatioun shall be used to prepare the samples. Samples <br />shall be 24 in. square panel to accurately represent each color and texture to be <br />utilized on the project <br />1.05 PRODUCT HANDLING <br />A. Procedures: In accord with Section 01010. <br />B. Immediately remove from site all materials which have been delivered in broken, <br />damaged, or unlabeled condition. <br />C. Protect materials from dampness. <br />D. Store materials indoors, off floor. <br />E. Deliver products in original packaging, labeled with product identification, <br />manufacturer and batch number. <br />F. Store projects in a dry area with temperature maintained between 50 and 85 <br />degrees F. Protect from direct sunlight. Protect from freezing. Protect from extreme <br />heat above 90 degrees F. <br />
