Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 006 <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of February 13, 1995: <br />TO: Members of the.Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: February 13, 1995 <br />SUBJECT: MISCELLANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 006 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A Bair <br />OMB Directo <br />I <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. The State of Florida, Department of Labor, has charged Indian River <br />County for Unemployment Compensation payments to former employees. <br />A budget amendment is required to reflect these payments. (Memo attached <br />from Personnel Director, Jack Price.) <br />2. The County has an informal agreement with Fellsmere Volunteer <br />Ambulance Service in which Fellsmere will receive 2% of the ALS charges <br />collected. This entry will adjust their budget to reflect the 2% collected. <br />3. The Property Appraiser bills his fee based on prior year taxes. The -final bill <br />for the Library bond assessment is $27,963. Since we closed the residual <br />equity into the General Fund, this entry allocates the funding. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached budget amendment <br />006. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously <br />approved Budget Amendment 006, as recommended <br />by staff. <br />10 <br />February 21, 1995 <br />
