Tuesday, February 21, 1995 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, February 21, <br />1995, at 9:00 a.m. Present were Kenneth R. Macht, Chairman; Fran <br />B. Adams, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and <br />John W. Tippin. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. Rabbi Jay Davis, <br />Temple Beth Shalom, delivered the Invocation and County Attorney <br />Vitunac led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Commissioner Eggert requested the addition of Item 13.D., <br />concerning security at the new Courthouse for a public/weekend <br />event such as the Garden Club's flower show. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously added <br />Item 13.D. to the Agenda. <br />Later in the meeting, Chairman Macht requested the addition of <br />Item 13.A., concerning a Florida Department of Transportation <br />Public Information Workshop on proposed improvement to SR -60. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously <br />added Item 13.A. to the Agenda. <br />1 <br />February 21, 1995 BOOK 94 CAUL -37b <br />
