Consent Agenda <br />Indian River County <br />Interoffice Memorandum <br />Office of Management & Budget <br />To: Members of the Board of County Commissioners <br />From: Kristin Daniels <br />Director, Office of Management & Budget <br />Date: September 10, 2019 <br />Subject: Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 014 <br />Description and Conditions <br />1. The Tax Collector's Office has submitted Budget Amendment # 1 in the amount of $80,900 for <br />FY 18/19. The opening of the Oceanside Office has a net increase of $48,000, the Sebastian <br />re -location has a net increase of $32,900 along with the purchase of new antivirus software, a <br />new printer, 3 new Surface Pros and advertising for the new addresses. Exhibit "A" <br />appropriates funding from General Fund/Cash Forward -Oct 1. <br />2. The Library has received donations totaling $1,744. Exhibit "A' appropriates these donations <br />to the General Fund/Main Library/Preservation/Restoration Account. <br />3. Walker's Glen and Floralton Beach streetlighting districts' electric expenses are exceeding <br />budgeted estimates. Exhibit "A" appropriates additional funding in the amount of $50 from <br />Walker's Glen/Cash Forward -Oct 1 st and $50 from Floralton Beach/Cash Forward -Oct 1 st. <br />4. The Federal Transit Administration has awarded the Section 5307 grant for 2019 in the <br />amount of $2,702,282. Exhibit "A" appropriates these grant funds to the General Fund/Senior <br />Resource Assoc./Community Transit Coordinator expense accounts. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the budget resolution amending the <br />fiscal year 2018-2019 budget. <br />207 <br />
