Quarterly Report #2 for Indian River County's Review of Factors Regarding the <br />Indian River Lagoon. <br />Grantee shall: <br />1. Prepare Quarterly Report #2 on the following research topics and how they relate to the <br />County's portion of the IRL: <br />a. Ecosystem functions and habitat use (Part 2) <br />b. Harmful algal blooms <br />c. State and regulatory review of rules <br />d. Total nitrogen and total phosphorus <br />e. Land use changes (Part 2) <br />2. Give a summary presentation of findings on these topics to the County Commissioners with the <br />following materials: <br />a. PowerPoint presentation summarizing the relevant significance of each topic to the County <br />and/or potential impacts on the health of the Lagoon. <br />b. Handouts and informational materials on the selected topics. <br />3. Hold a publicly advertised meeting which includes a presentation on findings from the above <br />research with the following materials: <br />a. PowerPoint presentation summarizing the relevant significance of each topic to the County <br />and/or potential impacts on the health of the Lagoon. <br />b. Handouts and informational materials on the selected topics. <br />c. Public comment and evaluation sheets. <br />C. Deliverable 3. Quarterly Report #3 for Indian River County's Review of Factors Regarding the <br />Indian River Lagoon. <br />Grantee shall: <br />1. Prepare Quarterly Report #3 on the following research topics and how they relate to the <br />County's portion of the IRL: <br />a. Hydrology and hydrodynamics <br />b. Water quality <br />c. Organics materials and sediments <br />d. Marinas and boat ramps <br />e. Sustainability and resiliency <br />f. Septic Systems <br />g. Stormwater <br />h. Water Consumption <br />2.
