At such time that the major capacity improvement <br />is constructed, the level of service for that road shall be "D" during peak hour, peak <br />season, peak direction conditions. <br />CR 510 — 66th Avenue to US Highway 1 (scheduled for widening) <br />37th Street — US Highway 1 to Indian River Boulevard (scheduled for <br />widening or alternatively mitigated by extension of Aviation Boulevard from <br />US 1 to 37th Street) <br />During the time period before major capacity improvements are provided for these <br />two roads, proposed major development projects approved by the planning and zoning <br />commission or board of county commissioners that will impact either or both of the <br />roads may, based on a traffic study approved by the Public Works Director, be <br />approved with conditions related to provisions for interim roadway improvements that <br />mitigate project impacts on one or both roads. <br />For SIS/Florida Intrastate Highway System roadways, level of service `B" is adopted for rural areas, <br />and level of service "C" is adopted for urban areas. <br />Polio The county hereby adopts level -of -service standards for selected public facilities as <br />follows: <br />➢ Correctional Facilities <br />The county adopts the following correctional facilities level -of -service standard: <br />➢ County wide level -of -service standard of 4.5 beds/1,000 permanent plus weighted <br />peak seasonal population <br />➢ Fire/EMS <br />The county adopts the following Fire/EMS level -of -service standard: <br />➢ County wide (excluding Indian River Shores) level -of -service standard of .089 <br />Stations per 1,000 permanent plus weighted peak seasonal population <br />➢ Law Enforcement <br />The county adopts the following Law Enforcement level -of -service standard: <br />➢ Unincorporated County level -of -service standard of 2.09 officers per 1,000 permanent <br />plus weighted peak seasonal population <br />➢ Libraries <br />210 <br />
