Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Draft <br />September 18, 2019 <br />- Make a motion to adopt a resolution to approve non -ad valorem Residential and Commercial Waste <br />Generation Unit Charge and Readiness -to -Use Fee. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner O'Bryan, seconded by Commissioner <br />Flescher, to approve the Non -Ad Valorem assessment rates of $75.56 per <br />Residential Waste Generation Unit ($120.90/House), a 3.5% increase from <br />current year; $42.00 per Commercial Waste Generation Unit, a 3.7% increase <br />from current year; and Readiness to Use Fee of $24.69, a 4.0% increase from <br />current year, for the Solid Waste Disposal District(SWDD); and to approve <br />Resolution 2019-085, establishing the assessment rate to be levied upon all <br />real taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, for Fiscal Year 2019/2020 <br />for the Solid Waste Disposal District. The motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />Aye: 5- Chairman Solari, Vice Chairman Adams, Commissioner Flescher, <br />Commissioner O'Bryan, and Commissioner Zorc <br />- Make a motion to adopt budget resolution. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner O'Bryan, seconded by Commissioner <br />Flescher, to approve the Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD) budget of <br />$16,237,578, and approve Resolution 2019-086, amending the County Budget <br />Officer's estimates of receipts other than taxes and of balances to be brought <br />forward for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 and adopting a final budget for the Solid <br />Waste Disposal District. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Solari, Vice Chairman Adams, Commissioner Flescher, <br />Commissioner O'Bryan, and Commissioner Zorc <br />7. ADOPTION OF NON -AD VALOREM ASSESSMENT CHARGES <br />Vice Chairman Adams presented the Street Lighting District. <br />7.
