BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />3120200019633 <br />�VEI?C, RECORDED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF <br />OG JEFFREY R SMITH, CLERK OF COURT <br />Q INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FL <br />WG BK: 3290 PG 1504 Page 1 of 14/3/2020 12:42 PM <br />ORIS �' <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY EMERGENCY ORDER 2020-001 <br />WHEREAS, on April 3, 2020, I, in my official capacity as County Administrator and <br />Indian River County Emergency Services Director, and acting pursuant to section 101.10(1) of the <br />Code of Indian River, and Resolution 2019-55 of the Board of County Commissioners, declared <br />that a local state of emergency exists in all of Indian River County, Florida, by reason of wildfires; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, by reason of such declarations of a state of emergency, and pursuant to the <br />authority granted in me in my capacity as County Administrator and Indian River <br />County Emergency Services District Director, I am authorized to enter emergency orders <br />necessary to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Indian River County, <br />including, without limitation, those orders authorized in chapter 252, Florida Statutes, and chapter <br />101 of the Code of Indian River County, and other applicable law; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, this Emergency Order is issued declaring a countywide, <br />mandatory burn ban that prohibits all outdoor burning that has not been specifically permitted by <br />the Florida Forestry Service.
