BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />�vER �\ <br />3120200021579 0 <br />RECORDED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF <br />JEFFREY R SMITH, CLERK OF COURT <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY FL <br />BK: 3293 PG: 963 Page 1 of 1 4/162020 1:53 PM <br />ORI�� <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY EMERGENCY ORDER 2020-003 <br />WHEREAS, on April 3, 2020, I, in my official capacity as County Administrator, and <br />acting pursuant to section 101.10(1) of the Code of Indian River County, and Resolution 2019- <br />55 of the Board of County Commissioners, declared that a local state of emergency existed in all <br />of Indian River County, Florida, by reason of wildfires; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 9, 2020, and again on April 16, 2020, I, in my official capacity as <br />County Administrator, and acting pursuant to section 101.10(1) of the Code of Indian River, and <br />Resolution 2019-55 of the Board of County Commissioners, declared and extended the local state <br />of emergency in all of Indian River County, Florida, by reason of wildfires; and <br />WHEREAS, by reason of such declarations of a state of emergency, and pursuant to the <br />authority granted in me in my capacity as County Administrator, I am authorized to enter <br />emergency orders necessary to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Indian <br />River County, including, without limitation, those orders authorized in chapter 252, Florida <br />Statutes, and chapter 101 of the Code of Indian River County, and other applicable law; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, this Emergency Order is issued declaring and extending <br />a countywide, mandatory burn ban that prohibits all outdoor burning that has not been specifically <br />permitted by the Florida Forestry Service.
