BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AVER <br />3120200022830 <br />RECORDED IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF <br />C, <br />G2 <br />JEFFREY R SMITH, CLERK OF COURT <br />FL <br />q <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />BK: 3295 PG: 448 Page 1 of 1 4232020 2:12 PM <br />ORI�p' <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY EMERGENCY ORDER 2020-004 <br />WHEREAS, on April 3, 2020, I, in my official capacity as County Administrator, and <br />acting pursuant to section 101.10(1) of the Code of Indian River County, and Resolution 2019- <br />55 of the Board of County Commissioners, declared that a local state of emergency existed in all <br />of Indian River County, Florida, by reason of wildfires; and <br />WHEREAS, on April 9, 2020, April 16, 2020, and again on April 23, 2020, I, in my <br />official capacity as County Administrator, and acting pursuant to section 101.10(1) of the Code of <br />Indian River, and Resolution 2019-55 of the Board of County Commissioners, declared and <br />extended the local state of emergency in all of Indian River County, Florida, by reason of wildfires; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, by reason of such declarations of a state of emergency, and pursuant to the <br />authority granted in me in my capacity as County Administrator, I am authorized to enter <br />emergency orders necessary to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Indian <br />River County, including, without limitation, those orders authorized in chapter 252, Florida <br />Statutes, and chapter 101 of the Code of Indian River County, and other applicable law; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, this Emergency Order is issued declaring a mandatory burn ban for <br />all areas of Indian River County west of Interstae-95 prohibiting all outdoor burning that has not <br />been specifically permitted by the Florida Forestry Service. Bon fires, campfires, and the burning <br />of vegetative (yard) debris west of Interstate -95 is not allowed at this time. <br />THIS EMERGENCY ORDER shall be in effect in Indian River County, west of <br />Interstate -95, from 8 a.m. on April 23, 2020 until 8 a.m. on April 30, 2020, or until further order. <br />DONE AND ORDERED this 23`d day of April, 2020. <br />I <br />Indian River County Administrator <br />OFFICE OF THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />INDIANRIVER COUNTY <br />1801 271h Street, Vero Beach, Fl. 32960-3388 <br />PHONE: 772-226-1408 <br />
