BOOK - FAIE <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Bird agreed that the project <br />needs to be done and said he would support the motion rather than <br />see the project not get done but felt that credits should be given <br />to Dependable Dodge and Home & Patio for the monies expended and <br />work performed. <br />Commissioner Adams offered to amend her motion to allow for <br />credits to be given to Dependable Dodge and Home & Patio. <br />Mr. Cain agreed that staff would re-examine the data in an <br />attempt to possibly allow additional credits to Dependable Dodge <br />and credit Home & Patio for the stabilized subgrade. <br />Commissioner Bird wanted it made part of the record that the <br />County is not assessing the mobile home park because there is no <br />access to 14th Street and that, if they use 14th Street in the <br />future, they have not paid their fair share. <br />MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED <br />by Chairman Macht, to include instructions to staff <br />to review the assessments for Home & Patio, Inc. and <br />Dependable Dodge; and to agree to table the <br />discussion regarding the Council on Aging's <br />assessment until March 28, 1995. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE QUESTION and the Amended <br />Motion carried by a 4-0 vote (Commissioner Tippin <br />being absent). <br />Confirming (Third Reso.) 2/7/95(ENG)RES3.MAG\gfk <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95- 47 <br />A RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, CONFIRMING <br />THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR CERTAIN PAVING AND <br />DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS TO 14TH STREET EAST OF <br />U.S. 1. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County adopted by Resolution No. 95-34, providing for certain <br />paving and drainage improvements to 14th Street east of U.S. <br />1; and <br />WHEREAS, said resolution described -the manner in which <br />said special assessments shall be made and how said special <br />assessments are to be paid; and <br />WHEREAS, the resolution was published as required by <br />Section 206.06, Indian River County Code; and <br />MART 21, 1995 <br />
