March 21, 1995 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, March 21, 1995, <br />at 9:00 a.m. Present were Kenneth R. Macht, Chairman; Fran B. <br />Adams, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; and Carolyn K. Eggert. <br />Commissioner John W. Tippin was absent due to illness. Also <br />present were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. <br />Vitunac, County Attorney; and P. J. Jones, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Macht called the meeting to order. Reverend Marilyn <br />Rieger of Unity Center of Vero Beach gave the invocation; and <br />Commissioner Adams led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Chairman Macht requested the following changes to today's <br />Agenda: <br />1. Item 13-A-1, defer to subsequent meeting. <br />2. Item 13-A-2, defer to subsequent meeting. <br />Commissioner Adams requested the addition of Item 13-B, <br />discussion of Humane Society letter. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board, by a 4-0 vote <br />(Commissioner Tippin being absent) made the above <br />changes to the Agenda. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Commissioner Adams requested that Item 7-F be pulled for <br />discussion. <br />MARCH 21, 1995 1 <br />
