o <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93 - 97 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPOINTING <br />THE MEMBERS OF THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AFFORDABLE HOUSING <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has adopted Ordinance No. 93 - 13 <br />establishing the Indian River County Local Housing Assistance <br />Program (IRCLHAProgram); and <br />WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 93 - 13 has been codified as Chapter <br />308 of the Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, through Section 308.04 of codified Ordinance 93-13, created <br />the Indian River County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee <br />(IRCAHAC); and <br />WHEREAS, Section 420.9076, Florida Statutes, and Section <br />308.07(1) of the Indian River County Code require that the members <br />of the Committee be appointed by resolution of the Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee membership shall be <br />composed of those persons described in Section 308.07(3)(a) <br />and (b) of the Indian River County Code and as identified in <br />Exhibit "A" attached to this resolution. Vacancies in <br />membership shall be filled and approved by majority vote of <br />the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners. <br />2. The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee is appointed to <br />perform and complete the duties and functions set forth in <br />Section 420.9076, Florida Statutes, and Section 308.07 of the <br />Indian River County Code. <br />3. As pertains to the Indian River County Affordable Housing <br />Advisory Committee and the Indian River County Local Housing <br />Assistance Plan, affordable housing is defined as housing <br />occupied by a household paying housing expenses which do not <br />exceed thirty percent (308) of the household's gross income. <br />Monthly housing cost for owner -occupied housing shall include <br />1 <br />
