Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: Work Order No. 31, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. <br />66th Avenue and 8th Street Intersection Signalization (IRC -2002) <br />DATE: February 4, 2020 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On April 17, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Continuing Consulting Engineering <br />Service Agreement for Professional Services with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. <br />The purpose of Work Order No. 31 is to provide survey, geotechnical, design and permitting services to add <br />traffic signal mast arm assemblies, pedestrian crosswalks, sidewalks with ADA compliant ramps and <br />associated drainage improvements at the intersection of 66TH Avenue and 8th Street. Work Order No. 31 is <br />for a total lump sum amount of $54,645.00. <br />FUNDING <br />Funding is budgeted and available in Traffic Impact Fees — District 3 Road Improvements/Traffic Signals/8th <br />Street & 66th Avenue Signal Installation (Account No. 10215341-066440-20015) in the amount of $54,645.00. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval of Work Order No. 31 to Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., authorizing the <br />professional services as outlined in the Scope of Services and requests the Board authorize the Chairman to <br />execute Work Order No. 31 on their behalf for a lump sum amount of $54,645.00. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Work Order No. 31 <br />AGENDA ITEM FOR.FEBRUARY 11, 2020 <br />35 <br />
