Board of County Commissioners <br />Meeting Minutes - Final April 14, 2020 <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners accept the resolution <br />(FIND grant application "Attachment E-7"), and authorize the Board Chairman to <br />sign the resolution on behalf of the County <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Resolution for Assistance 2020 FIND <br />IRC Grant Form <br />Commissioner O'Bryan acknowledged the work done by the Parks and <br />Conservation Resources staff at the Jones' Pier Conservation Area. The <br />Commissioner also made mention that the Captain Forster Hammock Preserve <br />Trail was a nice area to hike. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner O'Bryan, seconded by Vice Chairman Flescher, <br />to approve: 1) staffs recommendation, and 2) Resolution 2020-036, accepting the <br />Resolution for Assistance 2020 under the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) <br />Waterways Assistance Program. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Adams, Vice Chairman Flescher, Commissioner Zorc, Commissioner <br />O'Bryan, and Commissioner Solari <br />8.C. 20-1481 Right -of -Way Purchase - 58th Avenue/37th Street Intersection 5776 37th Street, <br />Vero Beach, FL 32966 Owners: Alan Chane and Abbe Chane <br />Recommended Action: <br />Staff recommends the Board approve the Purchase Agreement in the amount of <br />$16,000.00 for the purchase of 0.2 acre property located at 5776 37th Street, Vero <br />Beach, FL 32966, and authorize the Chairman to execute the purchase agreement <br />on behalf of the Board. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Purchase Agreement <br />Approved staffs recommendation <br />8.D. 20-1487 Amendment No. 10 to the Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Agreement for <br />Intersection Improvements at SR -60 and 43rd Avenue and the Widening of 43rd <br />Avenue from 18th Street to 26th Street with Arcadis US, Inc. <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends approval of Amendment No. 10 to Arcadis US, Inc., authorizing <br />the professional services as outlined in the Scope of Services and requests the <br />Board authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment No. 10 for a not -to -exceed <br />amount of $100,00.00 on their behalf. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Amendment No. 10 with Arcadis, US, Inc. <br />Approved staffs recommendation <br />Indian River County Florida <br />Page 3 <br />
