COUNTY ATTORNEY MATTERS <br />5.A. 20-1629 School District Request for Resolution Calling for Referendum on August 18, 2020 <br />Primary Election Ballot <br />Recommended Action: The County Attorney's Office recommends that the Board approve the resolution. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Proposed Resolution <br />Attachment to Proposed Resolution <br />Order Granting Complaint for Writ of Mandamus <br />County Attorney Dylan Reingold provided the background that led to a decision by <br />the Honorable Judge Janet Carney Croom, who issued the Order Granting <br />Complaint for Writ of Mandamus, ordering the Board of County Commissioners to <br />meet for the purpose of approving a resolution that would allow the School Board <br />of Indian River County to call an election for a referendum to be placed on the <br />ballot of the August 18, 2020 Primary Election. <br />There was no discussion by the Board. <br />Indian River County Florida Page 1 <br />
