DeBraal - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: February 7, 2020 <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Cancelling Taxes on Property Acquired by Indian River County for <br />Public Purpose <br />A Resolution has been prepared for the purpose of earmarking the public use of the property and <br />cancelling any delinquent, omitted or current taxes which may exist on the following property <br />acquired by Indian River County: <br />Public Purpose: Right -Of -Way for 11t Drive <br />Location/Description: Part of Parcel 32-39-26-00000-5000-00002.0 <br />Purchased From: Riverfront Groves, Inc., a Florida corporation <br />Instrument: Right Of Way Deed, recorded in Book 3275, Page <br />770 <br />FUNDING: <br />There is no cost associated with this item. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the Resolution to <br />cancel certain taxes upon the property acquired by Indian River County for a public purpose, and <br />the Clerk to send a certified copy of the Resolution to the Tax Collector and the Property <br />Appraiser so that any delinquent or current taxes can be cancelled. <br />/nhm <br />Attachment: Resolution <br />cc: Carole Jean Jordan - Tax Collector <br />Wesley Davis - Property Appraiser <br />66 <br />
