(AACE) is pleased to present this proposal for construction
materials testing services during improvements to a portion of 58d Avenue, as indicated above. The purpose
of our services, as discussed further herein, will be to provide materials testing in general accordance with the
project plans and technical specifications.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
We understand that the proposed improvements to 58`s Avenue consist of refurbishing (through the Full
Depth Reclamation (FDR) process) the roadway from STA 418+76 to STA 593+03 (approximately 3.3 miles)
as well as widening 69"' Street to the east and west of 58h Avenue (from STA 12+74.10 to STA 31+15.88,
approximately 0.34 miles). The project also includes drainage improvements and the signalization of the
intersection of 58a' Avenue and 69th Street. Testing associated with the relocation of a 20" water main will
be coordinated with the County's utility department.
Further, we understand that this is an FDOT Small County Outreach Program (SCOP). Therefore, based
on our understanding of the project and on our conversations with the FDOT State Materials Office, the
quality control measures listed in the FDOT's Developmental Specification T332 Full Depth Reclamation should
be adhered to. A project duration of approximately 1 year has been established by Indian River County.
- Balance of page intentionally left blank -
834 SW Swan Avenue, Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983 Ph: 772-807-9191 Fx: 772-807-9192 www.aaceinc.com
