BOX 4375 <br />VERO BEACH, PLORIDA 32064 <br />(407) 831.6900 <br />rACSIMILE TRANSMISSIONS: <br />(407)231-0720 <br />�lq p 1995 <br />w <br />ADAIO��tpsS <br />�s <br />This is to request that I be placed on the agenda for the County Commission <br />meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 28th, for purposes of addressing the <br />Commission regarding the Indian River Farms Water Control District's Permit and <br />Interlocal Agreements with the County for location of various utilities by the County <br />In District right-of-way. <br />Sin rely, <br />MICHA O'HAIRE <br />MOH /pkm <br />cc Indian River Farms Water Control District <br />Michael 0' Haire, attorney for Indian River Farms Water Control <br />District, advised that he is appearing at the request of the Board <br />of Supervisors of the Indian River Farms Water Control District. <br />His objective is to clear the air and, hopefully, mend some fences. <br />About a month ago the matter of the use of the District's right-of- <br />way for placement of fiber optic cable along the main canal running <br />from the jail to the new courthouse came before the Board and he <br />believed some erroneous information was given to the Board and that <br />information needs to be supplemented. The two Boards have gotten <br />along very well in the past and he feels it is incumbent on us to <br />try to clear up any misunderstandings. He thought the primary <br />issue was that the Board felt blindsided by the District's charges <br />for use of the right-of-way when utilities or other facilities are <br />located in the right-of-way, and he wanted the Board to understand <br />that the charge is nothing new.
