53 <br />1 SEC. 805, TECEMCAL MAPPING ADVISORY COUNCIL, <br />2 (a) ESTABLISHDIENT.—There is established a council <br />3 to be known as the Technical Mapping Advisory Council <br />4 (hereafter in this section referred to as the "Council"). <br />5 (b) ME1IBERSHIP.- <br />6 (1) IN GENERAL.—The Council shall consist of <br />7 the Director of the Federal Emergency Management <br />8 Agency (hereafter in this section referred to as the <br />9 "Director"), or the Director's designee, and 12 addi- <br />10 tional members to be appointed by the Director or <br />I 1 his designee, and shall include - <br />12 (A) the Under Secretary of Commerce for <br />13 Oceans and Atmosphere (or his or her des - <br />14 ignee); <br />15 (B) a member of recognized surveying and <br />16 mapping professional associations and organiza- <br />17 tions; <br />18 (C) a member of recognized professional <br />19 engineering associations and organizations; <br />20 (D) a member of recognized professional <br />21 associations or organizations representing flood <br />22 hazard determination firms; <br />23 (E) a representative of the United States <br />24 Geologic Survey; <br />25 (F) a representative of State geologic sur - <br />26 vey programs; <br />•s i+oa is ' <br />
