' A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />BY AND THROUGH ITS BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, <br />CREATING A COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY COORDINATING <br />COUNCIL. <br />�r NHEREAS, Indian River County is required to establish a County Public <br />Safety Coordinating Council, pursuant to Chapter 951.26, Florida Statutes= <br />and <br />i WHEREAS, the law requires that the following persons be appointed to the <br />committees <br />(1) The State Attorney or his designated Assistant State Attorney, <br />(2) The Public Defender or his designated Assistant Public Defender, <br />(3) The Chief Circuit Judge or another Circuit Judge as his designee, <br />(4) The Chief County Judge or another County Judge as his designee, <br />(5) The Chief Correctional officer, <br />(6) The Sheriff or his designee, if the Sheriff is not designated as the <br />Chief Correctional Officer, <br />(7) The State Probation Circuit Administrator or his designee, <br />(8) The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners or another County <br />Commissioner as designee, <br />(9) The Director of County Probation or Pretrial Intervention Program, and <br />(10) The Director of the Local Substance Abuse Treatment Program or his <br />designee. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, thats <br />The Indian River County Public Safety Coordinating Council is hereby <br />created for the purposes set out in Section 951.26, Florida Statutes. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Macht , and <br />the motion was seconded by Commissioner Eggert , and, upon being put to a <br />vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Richard N. Bird Absent <br />Vice Chairman John W. Tippin Aye <br />Commissioner Carolyn K. Eggert Aye <br />Commissioner Fran B. Adams Aye <br />Commissioner Kenneth R.
