boor 94 FAGS 843 <br />BACKGROUM <br />At a public hearing on June 14, 1994, the Indian River County Board <br />of County Commissioners approved Resolution III, No. 94-80, for the <br />preliminary assessment roll on the above -referenced project. <br />Construction of the project has been completed. We are now ready to <br />begin customer connections and request the Board of County <br />Commissioners' approval of the final assessment roll (see attached <br />minutes and Resolution III). <br />ANALYSIS <br />The preliminary assessment was for an estimated cost of $37,342.00, <br />which equated to $0.311118 per square foot of property assessed. <br />The final assessment (see attached Resolution IV and the <br />accompanying assessment roll) is in the amount of $29,705.61, which <br />equates to a cost of $0.247547 per square foot. <br />RECO14MENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve the adoption of Resolution IV. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Resolution No. 95-57 certifying "as - <br />built" costs for installation of sewer service <br />to State Road 60 and 90th Avenue. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 95- 57 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />CERTIFYING "AS -BUILT" COSTS FOR INSTALLATION OF <br />SEWER SERVICE TO STATE ROAD 60 and 90TH AVENUE; AND <br />SUCH OTHER CONSTRUCTION NECESSITATED BY SUCH <br />PROJECTI PROVIDING FOR FORMAL COMPLETION DATE, AND <br />DATE FOR PAYMENT WITHOUT PENALTY AND INTEREST. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County <br />determined that sewer improvements for properties located within the <br />area of State Road 60 and 90th Avenue are necessary to promote the <br />public welfare of the county; and <br />WHEREAS, on Tuesday, June 14, 1994, the Board held a public hearing <br />at which time and place the owners of property to be assessed appeared <br />before the Board to be heard as to the propriety and advisability of <br />making such improvements; and <br />April 11, 1995 <br />M <br />22 <br />W. <br />7-] <br />
