Ennis, P.E., PMP, Assistant Public Works Director <br />FROM: Kirstin Leiendecker, P.E, Project Engineer <br />SUBJECT: <br />Final Payment, Release of Retainage and Change Order No. 1 <br />Indian River Boulevard and Grand Harbor Boulevard Signalization <br />IRC -1806 <br />DATE: May 29, 2020 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On October 1, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners awarded Bid No. 2019076 to Sunshine <br />Land Design, Inc. in the amount of $481,780.68 to construct traffic signal mast arm assemblies, <br />pedestrian crosswalks, sidewalks with ADA compliant ramps and associated drainage <br />improvements at the intersection of Indian River Boulevard and Grand Harbor Boulevard. <br />Change Order No. 1 makes final adjustments to contract bid items resulting in a decrease to the <br />total contract amount by $33,130.99 for a final cost of $448,649.69 and makes final contract <br />time adjustments. <br />Sunshine Land Design, Inc. has successfully completed the project and has been paid <br />$422,616.37 with $22,242.97 held in retainage. Sunshine Land Design, Inc. has submitted <br />Contractor's Application for Payment No. 5 for final payment and release of retainage in the <br />amoun t of $26,033.32. <br />FUNDING <br />Funding for the final payment and release of retainage in the amount of $26,033.32 is available <br />in the following accounts: <br />Secondary Roads/Gas Tax <br />Indian River Blvd & Grand Harbor Intersection <br />Account No. 10921441-066510-18025 <br />$3,790.35. <br />Secondary Roads/Gas Tax <br />Account No. 109-206000-18025 <br />Indian River Blvd & Grand Harbor Intersection <br />$22,242.97 <br />Retainage—Sunshine Land Design <br />24 <br />
