Prado, Assistant County Attorney <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Dylan Reingold - County Attorney <br />DATE: June 19, 2020 <br />RE: <br />Resolutions Delegating the Authority to the County Administrator or his Designee <br />to Call Letters of Credit and to Act on Behalf of Indian River County during the <br />time frames of July 15, 2020, through and including August 17, 2020; and August <br />19, 2020, through and including September 14, 2020 <br />The Indian River County Board of County Commissioners is not holding meeting during the two <br />time frames of July 15, 2020, through and including August 17, 2020; and August 19, 2020, <br />through and including September 14, 2020. During these two intervals, it is necessary and <br />desirable that the Board delegate to the County Administrator, or his designee, the authority to <br />call Letters of Credit that may expire during these two time intervals. Further, it is necessary and <br />desirable that the Board delegate to the County Administrator, or his designee the authority to <br />execute all other documents necessary for the proper functioning of the County. <br />Funding: <br />There is no expense associated with this item. <br />Requested Action: <br />Authorize the Chairman to sign the two Resolutions as presented, delegating the authority to call <br />Letters of Credit and delegating full signing authority during the periods commencing July 15, <br />2020, through and including August 17, 2020; and August 19, 2020, through and including <br />September 14, 2020, respectively. <br />/nhm <br />Attachments <br />32 <br />
