Providing (First Reso.) 3/31/92(legal)Vk/DC <br />a. <br />sr <br />L? <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92- 62 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR WATER SERVICE TO <br />KINGS HIGHWAY SUBDIVISION AND REPLAT OF <br />BLOCKS 1, 2, 3, AND 4, 39TH AND 40TH STREETS <br />EAST OF KINGS HIGHWAY AND 56TH AVENUE; <br />PROVIDING THE TOTAL ESTIMATED COST, <br />METHOD OF PAYMENT OF ASSESSMENTS, NUMBER <br />OF ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS, AND LEGAL <br />DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA SPECIFICALLY <br />SERVED. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County has determined that the improvements herein described are <br />necessary to promote the public welfare of the county and has deter- <br />mined to defray the cost thereof by special assessments against certain <br />properties located in the area of Kings Highway Subdivision and Replat <br />of Blocks 1, 2, 3, and 4, 39th and 40th Streets east of Kings Highways <br />and 56th Avenue, to be serviced by a waterline of Indian River County <br />in a project hereinafter referred to as Project No. UW -92 -13 -DS; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: <br />1. The County does hereby determine that a waterline shall be <br />installed to serve 2 nonplatted parcels on the north side of 40th <br />Street together with 33 platted lots, which are located in Kings <br />Highway Subdivision and Replat of Block 1, 2, 3, and 4, 39th and <br />40th Street east of Kings Highway and 56th Avenue, and the cost <br />thereof shall be specially assessed in accordance with the <br />provisions of Sections 11-41 through 11-47 of the Code of Laws <br />and Ordinances of Indian River County. <br />2. The total estimated project assessment cost of the above-described <br />improvements is shown to be $0.07247489057 per square foot to be <br />paid by the property specially benefited as shown on the <br />assessment plat on file with the Department of Utility Services. <br />3. A special assessment in the amount of $0.07247489057 per square <br />foot shall be assessed against each of the properties designated on <br />the assessment plat. This assessment may be raised or lowered by <br />action of the Board of County Commissioners after the public <br />hearing, at the same meeting, as required by the referenced <br />County Code. <br />
