AGREEMENT FOR SALE OF ANIMAL .LICENSES <br />THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into as of the day of <br />1992 by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />(County) and (Veterinarian). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the County has established an Animal Control <br />Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, the licensing procedures contemplate issuance of <br />licensing by local veterinarians; and <br />WHEREAS, the authority to issue said license and compensation for <br />said issuance should be by contract, <br />NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereby agree as follows: <br />1. Scope of Work. Veterinarians shall issue the appropriate <br />animal license as set forth in the current animal control ordinance. <br />Veterinarians shall charge the appropriate fee set forth in the current <br />County resolution establishing fees for animal licensing. Veterinarian <br />shall remit to the County on the first of each month the amount <br />collected on the sale of licenses except as modified by paragraph 3 of <br />this Agreement. County shall supply the veterinarian with a copy of <br />the current fee resolution during the term of this contract. County <br />shall supply veterinarian with appropriate license forms and tags. <br />2. Duration of the Contract. This contract is of a continuing <br />nature. The contract may be terminated by either party giving the <br />other party 20 days notice in writing. <br />3. Consideration. For said services, the County will pay <br />veterinarian the sum of $1.00 for each license issued.
