A TRUE; COPY <br />CERTIFICATION ON LAST PACE <br />J.R. SMITH, CLERK <br />fraudulent claims for payment to the federal government. See DHS Standard <br />Terms and Conditions: Version 8.1 (2018); and 31 U.S.C. §§ 3801-3812, which <br />details the administrative remedies for false claims and statements made. The <br />non -Federal entity must include a provision in its contract that the contractor <br />acknowledges that 31 U.S.C. Chap. 38 (Administrative Remedies for False Claims <br />and Statements) applies to its actions pertaining to thecontract. <br />b. Applicability. FEMA recommends that the non -Federal entity include a <br />provision in its contract that the contractor acknowledges that 31 U.S.C. Chap. <br />38 (Administrative Remedies for False Claims and Statements) applies to its <br />actions pertaining to the contract. <br />c. Suggested Language. <br />"The Contractor acknowledges that 31 U.S.C. Chap. 38 (Administrative <br />Remedies for False Claims and Statements) applies to the Contractor's actions <br />pertaining to this contract." <br />83 <br />
