EXTENSION TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />FOR ANIMAL SHELTER SERVICES <br />THIS EXTENSION TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR ANIMAL <br />SHELTER SERVICES ("Extension") is entered into as of this 14 day of J , 2020, <br />by and between the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County, florida, Inc. a <br />Florida not for profit corporation, whose address is 6230 771 Street, Vero Beach, Florida, 32967 <br />("Society") and the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, a political <br />subdivision of the State of Florida, whose address is 1801 271 Street, Vero Beach, Florida, 32960 <br />("County„). <br />BACKGROUND RECITALS <br />A. On March 17, 2020, Society and County entered into a Memorandum of <br />Understanding for Animal Shelter Services, which commenced on May 1, 2020 and <br />lasts for six months; and <br />B. The parties wish to extend the Memorandum of Understanding for Animal Shelter <br />Services for an additional six months, <br />NOW THEREFORE, in accordance with the mutual covenants herein contained and <br />other good valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby <br />acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. The above background recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein. <br />2. The Memorandum of Understanding for Animal Shelter Services is extended until May <br />1, 2021. <br />3.
