DeBraal - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: June 10, 2020 <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Cancelling Taxes on Property Purchased by Indian River County for <br />Public Purpose (Lot 16, Block 3, Anita Park — 5776 371 Street) <br />A Resolution has been prepared for the purpose of earmarking the public use of the property and <br />cancelling any delinquent, omitted or current taxes which may exist on the following property <br />purchased by Indian River County: <br />Public Purpose: road expansion and drainage purposes <br />Location/Description: Parcel 32-39-28-00007-0030-00016.0 <br />Purchased From: AlanChaneand Abbe Chane, husband and wife <br />Instrument: Warranty Deed, recorded in Book 3302, Page 2022 <br />FUNDING: <br />There is no cost associated with this item. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the Resolution to <br />cancel certain taxes upon the property purchased by Indian River County for a public purpose, <br />and the Clerk to send a certified copy of the Resolution to the Tax Collector and the Property <br />Appraiser so that any delinquent or current taxes can be cancelled. <br />/nhm <br />Attachment: Resolution <br />cc: Carole Jean Jordan - Tax Collector <br />Wesley Davis - Property Appraiser <br />102 <br />
