SPECIAL MEETING <br />Monday, April 24, 1995 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Special Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Monday, April 24, 1995, <br />at 9:00 a.m. Present were Kenneth R. Macht, Chairman; Fran B. <br />Adams, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Carolyn K. Eggert; and John <br />W. Tippin. Staff present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; William G. <br />Collins, II, Deputy County Attorney; Doug Wright, Emergency <br />Services Director; John King, Emergency Management Coordinator; and <br />Patricia Ridgely, Deputy Clerk. Also present were Lisa Freeman and <br />her attorney, Robert Stone. <br />Chairman Macht called the meeting to order. <br />EMPLOYEE APPEAL HEARING - LISA FREEMAN <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of April 18, 1995: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners DATE: April 18, 1995 FILE: <br />SUBJECT: Lisa Freeman Appeal <br />FROM: amen E . Chandler <br />County Administrator REFERENCES: <br />As a result of a March 16, 1995 administrative hearing, I upheld Emergency <br />Services Director Doug Wrights termination of Secretary I Lisa Freeman. <br />Attorney Robert Stone, on behalf of Lisa Freeman, appealed the termination to <br />the Board. The appeal hearing has been scheduled by the Board for Monday, <br />April 24, 1995 at 9:00 a.m. <br />April 24, 1995 <br />BOOK 94 F','.GF 91? <br />
