SECTION 01610 <br />TRANSPORTATION AND HANDLING OF MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT <br />G. Immediately on delivery, Contractor shall inspect shipment to assure: <br />1. Product complies with requirements of Contract Documents and reviewed <br />submittals. <br />2. Quantities are correct. <br />3. Containers and packages are intact, labels are legible. <br />4. Products are properly protected and undamaged. <br />1.3 PRODUCT HANDLING <br />A. Provide equipment and personnel necessary to handle products, including <br />those provided by OWNER, by methods to prevent soiling or damage to <br />products or packaging. , <br />B. Provide additional protection during handling as necessary to prevent scraping, <br />marring or otherwise damaging products or surrounding surfaces. <br />C. Handle products by methods to prevent bending or overstressing. <br />D.. Lift heavy components only at designated lifting points. <br />E. Materials and equipment shall at all times be handled in a safe manner and as <br />recommended by manufacturer or supplier so that no damage will occur to <br />them. Do not drop, roll or skid products off delivery vehicles.
