Application for Service•'I,I•Consumer Installa- <br />tions Developer, or any owner of any parcel of the Property, r <br />or any occupant of any residence,' building or unit locatgd ' <br />thereon shall not have the right to and Shall not connect any <br />Consumer Installation to the facilities!'of Service Company <br />until formal written• application has bgen made to Service <br />Company by the prospective user or sewer service, in accordance <br />with the then effective rules and.. regulations of Service <br />Company and approval of such connection has' been granted. <br />Although the responsibility of conj ecting the Consumer <br />Installation to the meter and/or lines of! Service Company a:t <br />the point of delivery is that of the Developer or entity other <br />than Service Company, with referee?e to syph connections, the <br />Parties agree as follows: <br />(a) All Consumer Installation 'connections must be <br />inspected by Service ICompanyj'before backfilling <br />and covering of any pipes. jj4 <br />(b) Notice to Service Company requesting an <br />inspection of a Consumer Ing•tallation connection <br />may be given by the plum <br />ber'�pk Developer and the <br />inspection will be made witnXnItwenty-four (24) <br />hours, not including Satulr:ays, Sundays and <br />holidays. <br />(c) If Service Company fails to![ sheet the Consumer <br />Installation connection witi', ,forty-eight (48) <br />hours after such inspectibi)' is requested b�+ <br />Developer or the owner of any parcel, Developer <br />or owner may backfill i'or covF'r the pipes without <br />Service Company's approval 1'nd Service Company <br />must accept the connection asito any matter whic� <br />could have been discovAredby' �Il uch inspection. <br />I <br />(d) If the Developer does not{ comply with the <br />foregoing inspection provisions, Service Company <br />may refuse service toga connection that has not <br />been inspected until: Develo er complies with <br />these provisions. i <br />(e) The cost of constructiAg, opel,96ting, repairing or <br />maintaining Consumer Installs{t1ions shall be that <br />-of Developer or a party 'cher than Service <br />Company. <br />1i1l; <br />(f) If a kitchen, cafeteria, rest urant or other food <br />preparation or dining! faci ty is constructed <br />within the Property, 'the Sebice Company shall <br />have the right to require thA• )a grease trap bq <br />constructed, installed:,and con ected so that all <br />waste waters from any 'grease i:producing equipment <br />within such facility, , includl.tt��g : floor drains i6 <br />food preparation areas, shall .first enter the <br />grease trap for removal before• the wastewater is <br />delivered to the lines of tt :Service Company. <br />Size, materials and construction of such grease <br />trap shall be approved .by Service Company. <br />Any water which is directed'; to a grease trap <br />shall have sufficient Icoolinc ltime so as not to <br />exceed a0° F upon entering sai (grease trap. <br />i <br />All garbage can wash -down are:shall be designed <br />so as to provide a six-inch h h curb around said <br />wash -down area and shall beo greater than six <br />inches larger than the can 'rqn any side.
