RESOLUTION NO. 2020- 082 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, <br />ESTABLISHING THE ASSESSMENT RATES TO BE LEVIED <br />UPON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021 FOR ALL THE NON -AD <br />VALOREM ASSESSMENTS. <br />WHEREAS, the Budget Officer of Indian River County has ascertained the needs and <br />the fiscal policy of the Board of County Commissioners for the ensuing fiscal year and did <br />prepare and present to the Board a tentative budget for all of the street lighting municipal <br />service benefit units established pursuant to The Code of Indian River, Florida, along with <br />the East Gifford Watershed Area Municipal Service Benefit Unit (MSBU) and Vero Lake <br />Estates MSBU established pursuant to The Code of Indian River, Florida, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County did <br />examine the tentative budgets of all of the aforementioned municipal service benefit units and <br />held public hearings, pursuant to law, to consider input from the citizens of Indian River <br />County with respect to the special assessments to be levied and the amounts and the use of <br />money derived from the levy of the special assessments, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County hereby adopts and <br />levies the special assessments set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto as the final amounts <br />for fiscal year 2020-2021 for all non -ad valorem assessments in each municipal service <br />benefit unit set forth therein. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner O'Bryan <br />and the motion was seconded by Commissioner zorc , and, upon being put <br />to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Susan Adams AYE <br />Vice Chairman Joseph E. Flescher AYE <br />Commissioner Peter D. O'Bryan AYE <br />Commissioner Bob Solari AYE <br />Commissioner Tim Zorc AYE <br />The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted this 23rd day <br />of September, 2020. <br />Attest: Jeffrey R.
