Division 1—General Requirements, IRC -1801A <br />1.7 ADJUSTMENTS OF UTILITY CASTINGS COVERS AND BOXES <br />A. All existing utility castings, including valve boxes, junction boxes, manholes, pull boxes, <br />inlets and similar structures in the areas of construction that are to remain in service shall <br />be adjusted by the CONTRACTOR to bring them flush with the surface of the finished <br />work. <br />B. The CONTRACTOR shall coordinate the utilities to ensure proper construction <br />sequencing.
