He noted that the traffic circulation is good. Staff <br />recommended this abandonment but also recommended retention of an easement over the <br />right-of-way. <br />Commissioner Wheeler questioned whether access to the back of the buildings had <br />been investigated by emergency and law enforcement staff, and Director Boling gave assurances <br />that the plan had been approved by life-safety staff during the site plan process. <br /> <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />th <br />Eric Pollard <br />, 6153 98 Place, a First Baptist Church member, read a short <br />presentation advising that the abandonment was requested for safety purposes as well as a concern <br />for loitering. <br /> <br />The Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />February 15, 2005 <br />14 <br /> <br />
